Documents required to buy and sell Gold & Silver bullions
Because bullion is considered as an investment product, we require you to provide several documents to sell you gold bars and coins.

Why do I need to provide these documents?
Precious metals are classified as an investment product under UK law. We are required to verify the identity and address of all customers in accordance with Regulation 41, paragraph 3 of the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Regulations.
This personal data is not sold or used for any re-marketing purpose. Your information is kept securely and only used for compliance purposes.
Which documents do I need to provide?
Copy of a Photo ID
A valid passport or driving license.
Copy of a recent Utility Bill
Less than 3 months old. Accepted bills include:
- Electricity Bill
- Gas Bill
- Landline Telephone Bill
- Water Bill
- Broadband Bill
- Council Tax Bill
Copy of a recent Bank Statement
Required information: Bank account holder name, address, account number, and sort code.
We do not require to see any transfers or balances. Please feel free to blank these out.
We do not accept screenshots of your online banking account. We do need to receive a bank statement mentioning a date.
You can download a recent bank statement in PDF or JPEG format via your online banking screen.
How to send my documents?
